“Stay here, Elder Bai. Leave them to me.”

Before Bai Ai could say anything, Ye Qing leaped into the air and shot toward the group.

Space shook soundlessly as it swung its arms. The surrounding waters were pushed back at once by some sort of invisible force.

However, the powerful strike was caught by a single palm. The terrible, building shockwave abruptly cut off and disappeared as if nothing had happened as well.

The casual remark infuriated the Water Demon Ape. Its already humongous body swelled a little more until its arms looked as thick as an old tree. Then, it swung its arms in an attempt to smash the human who was holding its arm into paste.

Its plan did not come to fruition though. After all, its arms hadn’t budged an inch. It wasn’t because it didn’t want to move its arms, but because it couldn’t.

In its senses, the hand holding its elbows felt as heavy as the sky itself. It was immovable.

“You’re not strong enough though. Do you want to try something else?” Ye Qing’s voice came again from behind its back.

“Roar!” The Water Demon Ape let out a long howl. It almost forgot that formidable strength wasn’t the only tool in its arsenal. Its water manipulation was top notch as well.

The howl caused the water of the Ice River to explode and form a water dragon that was several kilometers long in the sky. When it opened its mouth, the gap spanned at least several hundred meters. It immediately tried to swallow Ye Qing.

However, Ye Qing responded by flicking the Water Demon Ape on its head.

There was a soft tap, and the Water Demon Ape was sent flying like a meteor. It slammed straight into the water dragon.

When Ye Qing sent the Water Demon Ape flying, its body abruptly turned transparent and fluid like water. The next moment, its body scattered into the rain and fell into the Ice River.
